Consort playing is the royal discipline:

We aim to sound like an organ.

Individual players find common vibrations and resonance.

With my consort, the first one built by Adrian Brown,

and those of my fellow players,

we have a wonderful array of instruments at our disposal,

which we complement with modern instruments.

Our repertoire spans from the Middle Ages to contemporary music,

often combined with readings,

dance (a.o. "So tear" by Willem Wander van Nieuwkerk),

electronics, etc.

A focal point is English consort music.

The ensemble sizes range from 3 to 10 recorders.
