Japanese culture, religion, and philosophy have fascinated me since my youth. 

I experienced multiple stays in Japan, engaging in play and connecting with Japanese artists. 

The pinnacle was the time spent with Ryohei Hirose, who wrote and dedicated "Illusion of the Crescent" to me. I performed the Japanese premiere in a

 mountain monastery near Kyoto and the 

German premiere during the 3rd Folkwang Symposium, both in his presence.
